Qualified & Certified
Our staff and instructors are all qualified and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration. These instructors and staff are not CFI time builders, they are exceptional educators with genuine interest in helping students achieve their dreams of becoming pilots. Our belief in hiring instructors is ‘There is no substitute for experience’. Our experienced instructors have served either in the armed forces or with the airlines with distinction and their passion for flying is the same as it used to be when they started their flying careers.

As the Chief Instructor of Aamro Aviation, Brett Duffy brings in more than 6000 hours of flying experience. He has been a flight instructor for over 10 years teaching in single, multiengine, and jet aircraft. In addition to flight instructing, he also flies charter flights in Hawker, Citation, and Lear aircraft and he is also a Pilot for the Air National Guard. Brett believes that it is important to learn something on every flight.

Brett Duffy’s lifelong fascination with aviation started as a child, when he used to visit his hometown airport with his parents to watch the airplanes take off and land. Brett quickly moved from fascination to vocation by earning his pilot’s license right out of high school while working on his Associates in Aviation Technology and Bachelor of Business degrees.

Brett’s aviation career took off when he moved to Philadelphia, where he became a traffic watch pilot and reporter. In subsequent years, he moved on to flying for a part 135 cargo operation in St. Louis and Arkansas. Brett is a proud member of The Air National Guard and is attached to the 171st Air Refuelling Wing out of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Born in the Pittsburgh area in 1972, Brett has his ATP license and holds type ratings for Beech jet, Hawker , and Lear jet aircraft. When he’s not flying, Brett might be found water-skiing on the rivers or working for a charity. He also enjoys refurbishing almost anything antique or broken except a broken heart.

As Chief Instructor and Manager of Aamro Aviation, Ken brings his many years of diversified background to ensure that every student has the experience of a lifetime and works to achieve their dream of flying.

Ken caught the aviation bug at age 16 when a friend took him on his first flight. He then went on to college, graduating with a degree in environmental education. After graduation, Ken pursued his passion for flying by working towards and receiving his Commercial, CFI and CFII pilot licenses. Following this he started a business venture and completed 25 years as a successful entrepreneur. During this time, he led a nationwide company with employees throughout the country and his team was the top producer in the industry for 20 plus years.

He then decided to turn his passion into his career and decided to become a full-time pilot and instructor. Ken’s unique background in business management and aviation blends together the best of both worlds.

Under the guidance of Ken Morgenbesser and with his background in education and experiential learning, our flight instructors teach to the individual student, maximizing effectiveness and learning. He has implemented a hands-on approach that involves not just one on one but all flight instructors in the school to watch over the individual’s progress. Ken resides in Boca Raton with his wife and children.

Note from Ken “In the diverse career path that I have had, nothing has ever thrilled me more than the initial take-off or landing an aircraft. Each day I wake up, excited to face the day with the challenges of teaching new pilots the skills required to move ahead in their career or enhance their hobby. Flying is not simply a career but is an all-encompassing way of life for me. I like to think that passing this enthusiasm on to my students is a small tribute to all the wonderful mentors that I have had in the field of aviation. I look forward to getting to know every one of our prospective student – pilot.”

Safety, Safety, Safety

At Aamro Aviation we cannot stress enough on the safety of our students and instructors. This is precisely the reason that led us to choose Diamond Aircrafts for our students. Diamonds have a track record of being one among the safest aircrafts in the world with low case of fatalities. Get more details here.

Some key features of our aircrafts are:

Active safety features include stable handling at low speeds, short take-off and landing distances, superior visibility and state-of-the-art avionics.

Passive safety features such as aluminum fuel cells protected by the DA40’s dual carbon fiber spars, help prevent post impact fires, a 26G rated safety cell cockpit and a host of other built in features help keep you safe should the unexpected happen.

Why we chose the best for you?

We did a careful analysis of the training requirements of our student pilots before deciding on the most important decision of which aircrafts would be the most suitable. We feel we need to train our students to be ‘airline ready’ before their first type-rating on a transport category aircraft should they choose to pursue this field as a career option.
Student pilots are enabled to develop the right psychomotor, cognitive, strategic and tactical skills which can then be easily transferred into the cockpit of an airliner.
The Diamonds have a set of key improvements and modifications as well as with a variety of options contained in the Advanced Airline Training (AAT) package. This package enables you to implement airline procedures and the respective operational realism from the very beginning of your training program.
